Intake and Exhaust Valves

In general valves  with diameters from 20mm to 50mm, in both automotive and marine engines can have protective surface layers applied with PTA. Protection against thermal shock and erosion at high temperature is often required.

Automotive engine demands allow for either cobalt or iron based material while marine engines tend to require the advantage of cobalt in most cases.
