The POP centre is a prototype facility where metal powders can be tested and new applications evaluated in a truly industrial environment.
The thermal surfacing prototype facility includes techniques such as powder welding, flame spray and PTA that have now been complimented with laser cladding. A real understanding of the technique and the criteria for high quality finished surfaces, ensure that our powders are developed for your needs.
The automated, robot steered, laser cladding achieves precise thickness control and high deposition efficiencies that must be matched with a superb powder consumable. High quality SurfitTM products ensure higher density laser coating with better corrosion and wear protection.
